Reserve capital
The property administrator is to propose the setting up and/or increasing of reserve capital to the general meeting every year. Unlike the balance of the (permanent) working capital that will be refunded on the purchase of your apartment, the reserve capital will become the property of the association and will not be refunded on the purchase of your property!
The question as to whether the best thing for you to do would be to build up a savings pot is to be assessed for each individual co-ownership, depending on the state of the immovable property, investments planned and – not least – the composition of the group of co-owners, for example.
